Apotex
Apotex is associated with the Merck
Group, who are in the pharmaceutical business. We wrote and produced
two video clips to open and close a number of provincial conferences
on herbal medicines as they relate to women's health. We also developed
a Powerpoint program that was transferred to Macromedia Director,
used as speaker support. It was all incorporated into a seamless
presentation.

Calgary Herald
We developed a sales program for
the Calgary Herald, which acted as presentation support for their
marketing team. Using video, audio and interactive graphics, the
sales team will be able to use a laptop computer to guide prospective
clients through all the options available to them and to provide
a host of statistical information which supports the Calgary Herald's
position as a leader in the Calgary media marketplace.

Colt Engineering
Colt Engineering needed to fill
two flat digital screens being used in their booth at the National
Petroleum show with a presentation that was synchronized to change
images on both screens at the same time throughout the presentation.
This Macromedia Director presentation features advanced timing techniques
to do just that. The program was also developed in Powerpoint so
that it could be used in other situations.

Deloitte & Touche
An example of one of the more flexible
ways to use Macromedia Director with Powerpoint, allowing for a
very flexible program that the client can update themselves. The
Director "shell" contains animation and video, while the
linked Powerpoint files provide more in-depth information that can
be easily updated. Background screens designed for both technologies
provide a transparent experience for the user. We are called on
often to provide a combination of flexibility and power in a sales
presentation and this combination has proven to be the answer in
several situations.

Intera Technologies
Media One developed a multimedia
program to showcase this multi-national company to potential investors
and clients. Intera delivered products and services through four
world-wide divisions - Image Mapping, Petroleum Services, Environmental
Services and Geosciences Quality Control. The CD-ROM included animated
samples of Intera software, animated clips highlighting Intera products
at work, and hundreds of still frame photos and text set to narration.

Jerrilyn Wright & Associates
Jerrilyn Wright's interactive presentation
is used in most major new business presentations. It has also been
developed into a CD-ROM (with some changes) that can be used as
a "leave-behind." Both programs include clients testimonials, and
pictures of past projects completed in a number of industries. It
also has a link back to their website, which has been updated with
similar features.

 |
 |
Merak Projects
This CD-ROM for Windows promotes
a new Merak product. The presentation is mostly linear, automatically
starts when the CD is inserted and is narrated throughout. It takes
you through their new software in terms of why it was developed,
what it does and shows a simulation of how the program would be
used in a mock circumstance.

Offsite/Jaws
Offsite data is in the business
of backing up corporate data after the lights have gone out and
everyone has gone home. A small company, they needed the credibility
an interactive laptop presentation provides as well as a means of
making their sales process more successful. We developed a laptop
presentation that helped raise their closing rates to more than
70%. A CD version was developed as a leave-behind and also sent
out to prospective clients. The company was sold shortly after we
developed the presentation, but we rebranded the presentation a
year later for Jaws Technologies, their purchaser.

PanCanadian
PanCanadian needed a very efficiently
developed cross platform CD-ROM that could be sent out to landmen
to explain contract changes in a very proactive and interactive
manner. The program was developed with the ability to source out
the changes very quickly in what was a very long document. It also
provided links to appropriate sections of the PanCanadian website,
making communication and the gathering of more information very
fast.

Panther Software
Panther Software came to us with
the need for an interactive large screen presentation that synchronized
to a sound track for a trade show situation. Using Director and
some additional Xtras (software that links to Director), we developed
a sophisticated solution that ran throughout the 3 day event without
any maintenance.

Parker Group
The Parker Group is an advertising
agency that uses a multimedia marketing presentation to present
the work they have done in the past. It uses video clips to introduce
staff and show samples of television commercials. It also uses audio
to play past radio campaigns and to help support the presenter during
the formal presentation. It has been developed for cross platform
use on laptop computer and has a distributable CD-ROM.

Pattison Outdoor
We developed an interactive laptop
presentation for Pattison Outdoor to help them sell space on signage
near the airports of three major cities. Much of the company's offering
is now sold out and one sales representative has told us that virtually
every time he uses the presentation, he makes a sale. Without it,
he doesn't do very well. The company has stopped taking all their
prospective clients out to the airport as video footage shows the
signage and maps show the locations.

Quorum/Automate
Quorum needed a program to promote
their Automate software, which helps car dealerships track virtually
anything a dealership does. And it does it better than competitive
software from the major car manufacturers. We developed a CD and
laptop presentation that features the software's inventor talking
directly to camera and provides an interactive section that allows
the user to find out about any aspect of the software, view pertinent
screens and hear testimonials from present users.

Ross Smith Energy
When we developed this presentation,
this company only existed on paper. Through the use of a laptop
presentation, the two partners were able to build their business
from the ground up to about $3 million annually in the space of
about 3 months. The presentation has doubled as an orientation program
for new employees and set the standard in terms of quality for everything
else they've developed to promote their capabilities.

Telus Advertising / Dominion
Information
This presentation was developed strictly
as a laptop presentation to be used by the Telus Advertising sales
force. It contains video interviews (testimonials) with a wide range
of present clients, shows Yellow Pages ad sizes, and provides support
materials to help in explaining the advantages in using their services.
It combines several binders of information into one handy laptop
presentation (with narration that can be turned on and off) - all
they need to make a sale.

The Banff Centre
The Banff Centre needed a CD-ROM
that could be sent out across the world to promote the Centre for
Conferences and the Banff School of Management. The program uses
Quicktime Virtual Reality extensively throughout to give convention
planners 360 degree views of key conference rooms and additional
facilities that make the Banff Centre unique in the world.

Three Sisters
The "Three Sisters Resort" is a
real estate development in Canmore that is offering opportunities
to investors on a number of levels. We developed a fully interactive
multimedia program using sound, video, and extensive graphics to
provide a history, plans for the future and full financial background
on the project. It was responsible helping the company secure hundreds
of millions of dollars in capital funding.
