For many years, we have produced and directed many aspects of awards
nights and conventions for a wide range of companies. Featured here
is some of our most recent work in this area.

ACI Awards 2001
The ACI Awards are the annual awards
for the Alberta concrete industry. For this event, we packaged the
award information into a linear awards program that introduced each
of the contenders and then named the winners. This was by far the
most elaborate and compelling program the organization had ever
produced and sets a benchmark for successive years.

Alliance Dinner 2000
When Stockwell Day was vying for
a seat in Canada's national general assembly, we produced and directed
the communication elements for his Calgary fund-raising dinner.
This was one of several dinners that were held across the country,
but ours was cited as the most professional presentation of any
held anywhere in Canada. Elements we developed included video intros,
music seques, narration and signage as well as directing the event
itself on the night.

Petro-Canada Conventions
For over a dozen years, Media One
developed and produced annual conventions for Petro-Canada in cities
all over Western Canada. Whether it's an audience of a few hundred
participants or several thousand, we're quite at home programming
events that involve live actors and executives interacting with
a variety of media or major fund raising dinners for well-known
politicians.

Premier's Dinner 1990 - 2001
Premier Ralph Klein holds a fund
raising dinner each year in Calgary. We produce all the communication
for the event each year and direct the proceedings on the night
of the event. Elements we produce include video introductions to
speeches, narrated introductions, computer generated graphics and
for the two most recent dinners, a CD giveaway (linking to the government
web site of the MLAs.).

Telus Advertising Awards 1985 - 2001
For approximately six years, we have produced the annual awards dinner for Telus Advertising, the most elaborate program we produce during the year. Each year grows bigger and better than the last and features live cameras, pre-produced video introductions for each award, live to tape interviews with relatives of the award winners and narrated intros punctuated with music segues. During the past year, we wrote a number of speeches and coordinated a teleprompter for all the on-stage presenters.
